Why Does God Make You Wait: Part 2

If you want to overcome you need to be a person of the word; you have to read the Word of God and apply it to your life so it will bring you growth.

Deuteronomy 8:2, “Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the desert these forty years, to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands.”

Everything you go through is to make you stronger and allow you to become an obedient person.  You can go through anything if you have a relationship with God.  The way you get to know God is when He puts you through some stuff.  God wants us to act right, but sometimes we fail God and when we fail He takes us full circle.

The proof of our obedience is in the desert of difficulty.  It doesn’t make sense to us sometimes when God doesn’t open a door we want Him to open.  There are reasons why God makes us wait.  It is to prepare us, mold us, shape us and work in our lives; to get us ready for the plan that lies ahead.  There are four things that we shouldn’t do while we are waiting for God to move:

1. You Can’t Allow FEAR to Overtake Your MIND

Fear is a magnet; so is fear.  God has better things for you in the future.  Don’t be afraid; your better days are ahead of you so don’t stay where you are right now.  Look forward to what God has for your future.  Grow yourself, get involved, step out and allow God to do the work.
